1. Why is photography important to you?
You can remember things that happened a long time ago like you can have pictures of you when you were little to remember you as a kid. You can take pictures of different places like if you went to a different country.

3. Why is National Geographic Important?
So other people can see other parts of the world like in books. People go to different places to take pictures. People could see other places when they didn't have cameras, or the Internet or TV.

Explain the Scientific Process
First you have a question, then you have a hypothesis. Then you have an experiment. If it's right for lots of them it becomes a theory, and if it's right for a long, long, long time it becomes a law.
What are three things that make a good scientist?
They have to be a good observer, and they have to be curious. They have to find out how to communicate with people. They have to find solutions during the experiment.

Oral Report: Claude Monet
He was an impressionist painter.
When you look at his paintings from close up, you can't tell what it is, but from farther away you can see what it really is.
He was from France.
He painted water lilies and painted in nature. He painted quickly because he didn't want how it looked [the light] to get out of his head.
He wanted to be an artist but his parents wanted him to help with their grocery store. He didn't want to help, and he met a painter who taught him how to use oil paints.

Oral Report: Weather Vocabulary Test, Science Semester 2
Weather: it's what's happening in the atmosphere.
Atmosphere: a blanket of gas that surrounds the Earth.
Climate: Usual weather in a certain place.
3 Ingredients of Weather:
Air Temperature
How much water there is in the air
Air Movement
Clouds: they're made of water
Cirrus: Feathery Cloud
Cumulus: Puffy Happy Clouds
Cumulonimbus: Stormy Clouds. The cloud gets really big and the hot air pushes it high high and then it gets mad when it hits the cold part of the atmosphere.
The Water Cycle: Water gets warm in lakes and seas and it evaporates and the little pieces of water find each other and make a cloud. Then it gets cold and condenses and turns back into a liquid and then it rains and goes back in the seas and rivers.
Forecast: We watch on TV and tells us if we should do things outside if we don't know what they weather's gonna be outside.
Meteorologist: a scientist that tells you what the weather's gonna be.
Why did you like studying the weather? I like remembering things, like if we're going to stop learning about them.

Oral Report: John and Abigail Adams
John worked in Boston and they were both apart from each other for most of the time.
Abigail worked with people and gave them food.
They moved away from Boston in case there was going to be a war.
When they got older they got together.
Abigail was married to the second President and John's job was to help the American Revolution and he was the president.
I felt like women should go to school because it's not fair that they didn't get to go; just boys. Abigail read books and had a homeschool. She wrote letters.
She helped people and gave them food and helped the Revolution.
I want to be my kids mom and take care of them as my most important job and learn about people and read books.

1. He does beautiful blues and pearly whites and beautiful yellows.
2. I like the Girl with a Pearl Earring painting that he did. Because it has the pearl earring. And I like the yellow.
3. I like The Milkmaid. Because I think the milk looks like it's pouring very nicely.
4. The side that the window is on is light and the other side of the window is dark. That makes your face half bright and half dark.

Patience on American History Sem 2: Colonial America, Revolutionary War.
After the Mayflower came and we turned into 13 colonies. South Carolina, Georgia, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Virginia, North Carolina, New York,
(then needed to look at the map for the rest, but knows the names)
They didn't want to pay money to get things [from King George] cause they had to pay extra money to get the same things that [people in England] got, but they didn't get to say how King George should spend it.
The colonists were mad and they made King George angry by throwing tea in the water [Boston Tea Party] and later they made that paper that said The Declamation of Independence and that made King George angry.
They had a war and they became their own country. America.
